Federal law requires political committees to use their best efforts to obtain, maintain and report the name, address, occupation and employer of each contributor who gives more then $200 in an election cycle. Contributions to the Republican Party of Iowa are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes as charitable contributions. Undesignated contributions will be uses in connection with federal elections. Contributions are prohibited from the treasuries of corporations, labor organizations, federal government contractors, and foreign nationals without permanent residency status.
