Dear Fellow Republican –
Many of you are aware that our Republican US Senate nominee, Joni Ernst, served our nation in Operation Iraqi Freedom and is currently a Lieutenant Colonel and battalion commander in the Iowa Army National Guard.
As part of her continued service to our state and nation, Joni will leave on Friday for her annual active duty training at Fort McCoy. During this time, she will not be able to fundraise, walk in parades, door knock or do other political activity.
That’s why I’m asking you to join “On Duty for Joni” which entails doing various grassroots activities so we can help spread Joni’s positive message across our state while she is gone.
Below is the information where you can help phone bank and door knock:
Monday, July 14-Friday, July 25
Any time between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.*
Victory 2014 Campaign Office
2775 86th St. – Urbandale, IA
*Best calling time is 4PM-8PM, but we’re calling 9AM-9PM. No sign up required, but you call Eric at 515-957-1898 for more information, or to let us know when you’ll be by to help out!
Thank you for all our help and together we can send Joni Ernst to Washington and take back the United States Senate.
Chairman Republican Party of Iowa
P.S. We know Bruce Braley and his liberal D.C. pals will continue to their slash-and-burn campaign against Joni while she’s on duty, so anything you can do to help us until Joni returns is greatly appreciated.
Joni Ernst is a member of the Army National Guard. Use of her military rank, job titles, and photographs in uniform does not imply endorsement by the Department of the Army or the Department of Defense.
