DES MOINES, Iowa– Republican Party of Iowa Chairman A.J. Spiker today issued the call for a special nominating convention for House District 52. The Special Nominating Convention will be used to nominate a Republican candidate to run in the Special Election for Iowa House District 52 that occurs on January 22, 2013.

The details of the special nominating convention are as follows:

The convention will be called to order by Republican Party of Iowa State Central Committee member Loras Schulte who will serve as convention Chairman. State Central Committee member Tony Krebsbach will serve convention Secretary.

Delegates to the Special Nominating Convention will receive the Chairman’s call via U.S. mail.
