Iowa GOP Nominates Charles Schneider for 
Senate District 22 in Special Nominating Convention

DES MOINES, Iowa– The Republican Party of Iowa announced today that Charles Schneider was the winner of the Special Nominating Convention for Iowa Senate District 22, held on November 8, 2012. Schneider won on the second round of balloting.

“Congratulations to Charles on winning the nomination. I look forward to working hard together over the next few weeks to ensure that Senate District 22 goes Republican,” said Republican Party of Iowa Chairman A.J. Spiker.

Schneider will face Democrat Desmund Adams in a special election on December 11, 2012.
