Fellow Iowa Republicans,
It was my honor and privilege today to receive the unanimous support of the State Central committee to serve as Chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa. I look forward to serving with the committee as we look ahead to a victorious November, 2014.
Iowans are known for their work ethic and individual responsibility. As a former candidate and legislator I know that campaigns are won as a result of hard work and the efforts of many different people pulling together as a whole. I look forward to using that experience as I work with the Central Committee and Republicans across the state, especially candidates, as we advance the Republican platform.
As for individual responsibility, each one of us must recognize that we need to do our part. I urge you to get involved in a local campaign where your efforts will make a difference. Many good Republican candidates have stepped forward and put their name on the ballot. In order to win they need your help and assistance in putting up yard signs, raising money and reaching out to your friends and neighbors.
If we all pull together and work toward the goals we have in common and take our responsibility to get involved seriously, Republicans can win big in 2014. As your State Chairman I look forward to doing my part in helping our candidates to victory in November
