Iowa GOP Announces ‘Road to Victory’ Tour

Iowans invited to come meet Gov. Branstad, GOP candidates 

DES MOINES – The effort to return principled government to the people of Iowa hits the road this week as the Iowa GOP today announced a three-day, statewide Road to Victory tour featuring Governor Terry Branstad and many of the Party’s newly-elected nominees.

“Iowa is ready for change, and Republicans will lead the way. I’m excited for Iowans to get to know the leaders who will give Iowa the competent, principled leadership our state needs and deserves,” said Iowa GOP Chairman Matt Strawn. 

Along with Branstad and Strawn, participating candidates on the Road to Victory tour include Iowa Attorney General nominee Brenna Findley, Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey, Secretary of State nominee Matt Schultz and State Treasurer nominee Dave Jamison. Congressional candidates Brad Zaun, Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Ben Lange will also join stops in their respective districts.

The three-day tour begins in the Des Moines area with stops in Ottumwa, Marion, Bettendorf, Council Bluffs, Sioux City, Mason City, Waterloo and Ames. All events are free and Iowans are encouraged to attend.
