Ethics Charges Against Boswell Donor Detailed

How long will Boswell sit on Rangel’s cash? 

DES MOINES  –  House ethics violations allegedly committed by Democrat New York Congressman Charles Rangel were detailed today. Rangel, who has donated $53,000 to Iowa Democrat Congressman Leonard Boswell, is accused of failing to disclose more than half a million dollars in assets, among other allegations.

Republican Party of Iowa Executive Director Jim Anderson has repeatedly called on Boswell to return the tainted campaign contributions, but so far, Boswell is still Rangel’s $53,000 man.  

Today Anderson said, “Even as more details come to light about Rangel’s shady ethics, Leonard Boswell clings to the cash. Other Democrats have donated their portions to charity. Every day Boswell waits is just more evidence that he values the money more than ethics.”
