As Nancy Pelosi is trying to keep hopes of usurping the will of Iowa voters alive long into the summer, vulnerable House Democrats keep jumping ship.

Another vulnerable House Democrat spoke out against Pelosi's power grab yesterday to CNN. "The burden of proof in this matter lies with Ms. Hart, and her evidence would need to clear a very high bar to warrant action from the House," said Rep. Matt Cartwright (PA-08). "Otherwise, election decisions made at the state and local level should be respected."

This comes after the NRCC released a new radio ad in Iowa slamming Cindy Axne on her inability to stand up for Iowa voters. Remember, Axne has not said anything about the Iowa contest since December even after being asked for more recent comments on the contest.

"With every day that passes, Iowans see again and again that Axne will always follow Pelosi's lead," said Republican Party of Iowa Communications Director Kollin Crompton. "It's a shame that Iowans have relied on Democrats from other states to speak up against this power grab. It's time for her to say something, anything."
