Last week, Cindy Axne said she supports abortion up until 20 weeks and that she would not support legalizing all late-term abortions.

Yet, Axne accepted the endorsement of Emily's List - a radical abortion group. Emily's List sets clear standards for their endorsements, with their criteria including, "back abortion rights, including the right to late-term (or 'partial birth') abortions."

Axne doesn't get to have it both ways. If she is as supportive of Iowa's current 20 week law, then she should denounce Emily's List and their endorsement.

Axne even voted for a bill that Joe Manchin admitted, “expands abortion,” and allowed abortion on demand and up until the moment of birth.

"Axne's career can be summed up by this kind of Washington double-speak," said Republican Party of Iowa Communications Director Kollin Crompton. "Axne always says one thing in Iowa and goes to Washington to fall in line with the radical national Democrat Party. This is what Iowans hate about politics."
