Axne Set to Face Iowans At First Town Hall
DES MOINES – Cindy Axne is holding her first town hall tomorrow after being in office for three months, finally giving Iowans an opportunity to hold her accountable. Axne’s first vote was to crown Nancy Pelosi Speaker, and she’s been ignoring constituents and answering to the party boss ever since. With her alarming history of dodging questions, it would be no surprise if Axne rigs the town hall and receives softball, pre-screened questions — but after three months of siding with coastal donors and far-left Democrats, Iowans deserve answers:
- On the campaign trail, Axne refused to answer if she would support Pelosi for Speaker. But after arriving in Washington, she quickly caved and threw her support behind Pelosi — abandoning constituents and becoming another far-left Pelosi pawn
- Axne voted to block President Trump’s national emergency declaration to secure our southern border. Iowans against building a wall decreased by 14 percent, and those supporting a wall increased 7 percent — yet Axne again abandoned Iowans and voted with the radical Left
- Axne also voted for H.R. 1, another Nancy Pelosi Production that allows her puppets to fund their campaigns with taxpayer money
- With the Democratic party’s sudden radical jolt towards socialism, Axne has remained silent and refuses to condemn out-of-touch policies like the Green New Deal. In fact, despite its startling price tag of $93,000,000,000,000, Axne “supports many of the goals included in the Green New Deal”
