DES MOINES -- Last night, Reps. Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer sealed their fates as one-term congresswomen by voting to undo the will of their constituents. And they knew it. 

Not only did they ignore Iowans by voting to impeach our duly-elected president, but they continued ignoring questions regarding this historically partisan vote. 

Axne and Finkenauer have a history of ignoring questions on impeachment, which has clearly been a priority for Democrats since the day President Trump was inaugurated. It seems they’re hiding their support for impeachment because they know Iowans strongly support President Trump, but they decided to ignore their constituents and follow the lead of Nancy Pelosi and the far-left anyway.

This is partisan politics at its worst, and Iowans will remember next November that Reps. Axne and Finkenauer repeatedly stood with Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and Jerry Nadler over the people of this state.
