DES MOINES -- Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden sent the media on a wild goose chase in search for records pertaining to Tara Reade and her allegations of sexual assault against Biden. First, he sent the press to the National Archives, but they said they don’t hold the records. Then, he claimed records should be available through the Secretary of the Senate, but they also don’t have the authority to release such records.

There is one more place journalists could find the records: The University of Delaware. Interestingly, Biden has said he doesn’t want his alma mater to release his Senatorial papers over concerns that his positions or policies could be used as “fodder” against him.

Even though it seems Biden and many of his establishment Democrat allies are trying to brush off these corroborated allegations, Reps. Axne and Finkenauer, who have both endorsed Joe Biden for president, must be asked where they stand on these allegations of sexual assault against Biden. Iowans deserve to know: Do Reps. Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer think the Delaware Documents should be released? Do they continue to support Biden after these allegations?

It should be easy to get a hold of them, since they’re back home doing nothing instead of working in D.C. with the Senate.
