DES MOINES -- Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann issued the following statement regarding Reps. Axne, Finkenauer, and Loebsack voting with radical Democrats to proceed with the impeachment inquiry:

“Iowa Democratic Reps. Axne, Finkenauer, and Loebsack ignored Iowans and sided with Nancy Pelosi and the delusional Democrats by voting to proceed with the far-left’s latest witch hunt. With this vote, Democrats have put the final nail in the coffin of their re-election efforts in Iowa’s pro-Trump districts. Iowans were tricked in 2018 with false promises that Democrats would work with the president, so voters will respond by treating them to defeat at the ballot box next November.”
