DES MOINES -- After weeks of partisanrigged hearings, House Democrats are poised to hold a vote on impeachment without any solid evidence.

Nancy Pelosi once disingenuously claimed that impeachment was “divisive” and “has to be bipartisan,” while Jerry Nadler once said impeachment shouldn’t only be “substantially supported by one of our major political parties.”

But some Democrats have been vocal in their opposition to Pelosi’s sham impeachment proceedings. Democrats joined Republicans in voting against the inquiry, and some are now questioning the legitimacy of their impeachment case.

While Democrats are struggling to justify their latest attempt to kick President Trump out of office and some are speaking out against it, Reps. Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer have been silent.

Last week, both Axne and Finkenauer ignored questions when confronted about Pelosi’s plan to proceed with articles of impeachment. Finkenauer “brushed past CNN when asked directly how she felt,” and Axne ignored the question altogether. But don’t worry, she’s had plenty of time to hold fundraisers with liberal New York donors and failed presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand.

“Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer can’t run away from impeachment,” said Aaron Britt, Communications Director for the Republican Party of Iowa. “They’re already on the record voting in support of the impeachment inquiry, proving they will always stand with the far-left over Iowans. Voters won’t forget they repeatedly stood with Nancy Pelosi and Rashida Tlaib over them.”
