It's as crazy as it sounds, House Democrats used taxpayer dollars to try and overturn a state-certified election in Iowa's Second Congressional District. 

Today, The Washington Free Beacon broke the news that $800,000 of taxpayer dollars went to the egregious attempt to throw Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks out of Congress.

Democrats tried to overturn a state-certified election to pad their political majority and take away the voice of Iowans - all for power. 

"While Democrats were trying to take the voices of Iowans away, they were using our tax dollars to do it," said Republican Party of Iowa Communications Director Kollin Crompton.  “It's shameful and the money should be returned to the American people."
