Yesterday, Congressman Randy Feenstra warned that Congressional Democrats are looking to strip relief meant to help Americans recovering from natural disasters - like Iowans recovering from last summer's derecho.

Democrats are okay with bloating their Covid-19 relief bill with millions of dollars for obscure projects that are not related to Covid-19, but relief to those recovering from wild storms, like the derecho, is apparently too far. 

Notably, while Republicans are trying to save Feenstra's relief amendment, Cindy Axne is silent. 

"Cindy Axne has the opportunity to stand up and help Iowans. However, like every time before, she will sit back and bend to Pelosi's will," said Iowa GOP Communications Director Kollin Crompton. "Iowans know who is putting them first - the Iowa GOP delegation. They won't let anyone stand in the way of their fight to get Iowans much needed relief."
