Theresa Greenfield dodging impeachment is inexcusable
Greenfield has not said (or even tweeted) where she stands on impeachment.
DES MOINES -- Today marks day four of impeachment and Chuck Schumer’s handpicked candidate, Theresa Greenfield, is still SILENT. For months, Greenfield has refused to tell Iowans and the media where she stands on impeachment, though that hasn’t stopped her from fundraising off of it.
Tomorrow, as the impeachment trial continues, Greenfield will emerge from her “windowless basement” for two events, including a fundraiser at a wine bar with a “gourmet lunch.”
But why is Greenfield silent? Because Schumer knows that President Trump’s major wins for Iowa continue to energize voters across the state. That’s why Greenfield opts to spend her time avoiding questions like impeachment or whether she’d support a Democrat for President.
“Theresa Greenfield continues to follow orders to stay silent from Chuck Schumer because she knows Iowans are energized around President Trump and his wins for our state. But Iowa voters deserve honesty and transparency from politicians. Having spent the entirety of her campaign ducking and dodging, it’s past time Greenfield come clean on where she stands over impeachment.” -- Aaron Britt, Communications Director for the Republican Party of Iowa.
