For months, Iowans have been dealing with the effects of inflation caused by the Democrat agenda. While Iowans have seen their paychecks stretching thinner and thinner, Cindy Axne called inflation concerns a "false advertisement."

Today, Cindy Axne was proved wrong. According to new data from the Labor Department, consumer prices rose 6.2% in October compared to last year, the largest spike in over 30 years

This news comes as Iowans are being told their energy costs will see a 46 to 96 percent increase this winter.

"Democrats are finally beginning to understand what I have known all year: inflation is crushing Iowans. While Iowans have seen soaring gas prices, empty shelves, and the paychecks stretching thinner, Cindy Axne has been solely focused on implementing the largest tax increase in decades," said Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann. "Axne has yet to admit that inflation is a problem and proves just how out of touch she is with Iowans. With this radical spending bill, Axne is doing Iowans a disservice. She must come out against this spending and stand with the people of Iowa."
