Instead of Listening to Iowans, Greenfield Follows the Leader on SCOTUS
Greenfield is catering to her dark money and out-of-state allies
DES MOINES, Iowa -- A new poll shows Americans overwhelmingly oppose Democrats’ calls to pack the Supreme Court with liberal activist judges, and another finds Americans strongly support holding a confirmation vote for judge Amy Coney Barrett regardless of election results.
Despite the fact that voters oppose court packing and support a Senate vote, Theresa Greenfield has echoed the rhetoric of Chuck Schumer and the liberal groups bankrolling her -- clearly following the Leader on packing the Supreme Court and supporting delays for the confirmation vote until after the election.
“Theresa Greenfield is being bankrolled by Chuck Schumer and the radical left to the tune of $100+ million, and it’s clear this staggering amount of outside money is already influencing her decisions,” said Aaron Britt, Communications Director for the Republican Party of Iowa. “Voters reject the idea of court packing, and support holding a confirmation vote -- yet Greenfield is catering to her dark money and out-of-state allies by supporting exactly the opposite. This is simply more proof that she would be a reliable vote for them, not Iowans.”
