Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement in response to the IA-01 Iowa Press debate: 

"Iowans know that Christina Bohannan is a liberal, Iowa City Law Professor to her core. She is completely out of touch with the reality facing Iowans today: record high inflation, rising gas prices, and a crisis at our Southern Border.

"Miller-Meeks has represented Southeast Iowa better than anyone over the past decade. She knows their fight and understands that the Biden Administration has failed them. Iowans must send Miller-Meeks back to Washington to be a check on Democrats' detrimental agenda."
