Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement in response to the Iowa Democrat Senate primary debate: 

"It's sad to see how woke the Democrat Party has become since Joe Biden took office. All three of these candidates believe in extreme positions that are completely out of step with Iowans.

"Iowans know these candidates don't have the spine to stand up to Joe Biden and their national party. As inflation continues to skyrocket, the crisis at the border gets worse, and the future of our country looks more and more bleak, these Democrats' only solution is to continue down the path toward socialism.

"In November, Iowans will reject the Democrats' woke culture war."
