DES MOINES - Iowa GOP Spokesman Luke Wolff released the following statement regarding the Iowa Democratic Party State Convention:

"Today, the Iowa Democrats will gather to host their State Convention where they will outline their extreme, far-left platform that shapes their party. Iowa Democrats wonder why they are in the super-minority while they align themselves with Biden and continue to push out-of-touch policies such as high taxes, open borders, and abortion up until birth."

"Meanwhile, Iowa Republicans raised salaries for teachers (which every Democrat voted against), allowed Iowans to keep more of their hard-earned money by cutting taxes, invested in law enforcement, and strengthened our education system. Leadership matters, and Iowans live better lives when Republicans are leading."
