In response to Kamala Harris' visit to Des Moines today, Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement: 

"National Democrats have already made it clear that they don't care about Iowa and the Midwest when they pushed to scrap Iowa's First-in-the-Nation Caucus, so it's a little puzzling to see Joe Biden's border czar, Kamala Harris, pay a visit here when the border is still a raging dumpster fire.

"Too bad Harris will be talking about everything other than the issues that are actually at the top of Iowans' minds -- her and Biden's disastrous economy and runaway inflation."
