DES MOINES - Iowa GOP Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement in response to Selzer & Co.'s recent Iowa presidential poll:

"The people of Iowa have spoken: they are sick and tired of Biden's woke, out-of-touch policies that harm the American people. Two-thirds of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, crime is rampant, inflation is rising, and daily necessities cost more and more each day," said Jeff Kaufmann, Chairman of the Iowa GOP.

"Iowa, through our first in the nation status, has always been a leading voice in the nation when it comes to supporting a presidential nominee. It is clear as day that right now, this country needs 4 more years of Donald J. Trump to right the wrongs that Joe Biden has done while in office. President Trump's commanding lead in this poll shows the people of Iowa realize this country is in danger under Biden."
