Iowa Republicans DOUBLE Voter Registration Advantage from Last Month
DES MOINES, Iowa -- With the new voter registration numbers released this morning, Republicans have nearly doubled their voter registration lead from September -- expanding the advantage to over 13,000.
Republicans now have nearly the same advantage Democrats had after their competitive caucus in February, completely erasing their gains and once again increasing totals in every congressional district.
“The ground game Iowa Trump Victory has been building for over a year is firing on all cylinders. This impressive gain in voter registration numbers is a testament to how important it is to have a robust, grassroots voter contact program,” said Aaron Britt, Communications Director for the Republican Party of Iowa. “This week, they completed their two millionth voter contact this cycle. Meanwhile, Democrats like Theresa Greenfield are ignoring half the state and relying on Californians to send postcards for their get-out-the-vote efforts. With a little over a month until Election Day, Republicans have grassroots momentum on our side, and we are fired up and ready to elect Republicans up-and-down the ballot.”
