When it comes to important votes, Cindy Axne is known for keeping Iowans in the dark and then stabbing them in the back.

Yesterday, Fox News reported that Cindy Axne refused to answer if she supports the Senate's, "Inflation Reduction Act of 2022," that would raise taxes and increase spending.

While Democrats would like Americans to believe that this bill would reduce inflation, multiple nonpartisan organizations have indicated how dangerous this plan is for the American people.

The Penn Wharton Budget Model showed that, "the impact on inflation is statistically indistinguishable from zero." Also, the nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation found that the bill would raise taxes on Americans making less than $200,000 per year and those making between $200,000 and $500,000 a year, violating a campaign promise Joe Biden made not to increase taxes on those making less than $400,000.

Why is Cindy Axne so scared to tell Iowans where she stands? For over a year Axne has been telling Iowans she has been "working on" fixing these problems. What are the tangible benefits of that "work?" Inflation is still rising and the U.S. just entered a recession. First she told Iowans inflation worries were false advertisement, but has recently claimed she's getting inflation, "under control."

"Cindy Axne has been lying to Iowans' faces. Even with her pandering, none of the economic hardships facing Iowans have been fixed even though she has been 'focused' on them for months," said Republican Party of Iowa chairman Jeff Kaufmann. "She needs to tell Iowans where she stands on this bill - that's the job of a Congressional Representative. Her silence proves she's just waiting for us to turn around so she can stab us in the back, yet again."
