DES MOINES, Iowa -- Theresa Greenfield will virtually emerge from Chuck Schumer’s windowless basement this evening to speak at the Polk County Democrats’ private fundraiser. But don’t worry, Chuck Schumer will still be able to keep a close eye on her, since he is the featured speaker.

Since both Theresa Greenfield and Cindy Axne will appear alongside Party Boss and East Coast Liberal Chuck Schumer tonight, here are a couple questions Iowans deserve to have answered:

  • Sen. Schumer recently blocked a resolution that opposed the radical idea of defunding the police, defending the idea on behalf of the Democratic Party. Do Theresa Greenfield and Cindy Axne agree with Schumer’s plan to defund the police?

  • Nancy Pelosi accused the GOP and Sen. Tim Scott of “trying to get away with murder” with the JUSTICE Act, to which Schumer responded, “What she has said is fine with me.” Are Greenfield and Axne also “fine” with this disgusting comment?

  • Schumer’s super PAC, funded by corporations and special interests, poured at least $7 million into the Senate Democratic primary race to benefit Greenfield -- and now he’s planning on spending millions more alongside his other dark money groupsWill Greenfield take this opportunity to publicly ask Chuck Schumer to stop funneling dark money into her campaign?

“It’s no surprise that Theresa Greenfield is appearing alongside Sen. Chuck Schumer tonight -- her entire campaign strategy is based on his out-of-touch Washington campaign tactics,” said Jeff Kaufmann, Chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa. “Greenfield’s campaign is not an Iowa campaign. She’s avoiding questions as her party discusses implementing a radical climate change agenda that would decimate the biofuels industry, and she hasn’t said a word about the ‘defund the police’ movement. Her silence is deafening and proves she is grossly unprepared to lead.”
