Since the beginning of his administration, Joe Biden has been trampling on states' rights. On behalf of Iowans, Gov. Reynolds is fighting back. Now, the courts are stepping in.

Today, a federal court in Alabama ruled that Congress exceeded its authority in the American Rescue Plan Act with a provision that prohibited states from cutting taxes.

"This is why we work to elect Republican leaders like Gov. Kim Reynolds. GOP Governors, led by Gov. Reynolds, are standing up to the Biden Administration, and winning," said Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann. "Iowa Republicans will never back down from a fight, especially when it comes to defending the freedoms and pocketbooks of Iowans. This is a huge win, but we cannot become complacent. We must put an end to the Biden Administration in 2022."
