DES MOINES – In response to Democratic presidential hopefuls campaigning with State Senate candidate Eric Giddens this weekend, Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement:

“While Eric Giddens is running around with far-left Democrats like Warren, O’Rourke, Klobuchar, and Booker — Washington blowhards who are so woefully out-of-touch they support radical, multi-trillion dollar socialist policies — Walt Rogers is busy running on a record of results, having spent eight years in Des Moines securing historic levels of funding for UNI and fighting for K-12 education. The contrast in this race is clear: Rogers stands with friends, neighbors, and the taxpayers of District 30, while Giddens stands arm-in-arm with D.C. socialists.”
