RPI Statement on Beto O’Rourke’s Des Moines Town Hall
DES MOINES — Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann issued the following statement regarding Beto O’Rourke’s town hall this evening:
“It seems 2020 Democrats are terrified of taking questions from everyday Iowans. Like Kamala Harris before him, Beto O’Rourke is holding a town hall tonight filled with pre-screened audience members and Fake News CNN-approved questions. With his radical support for third-trimester abortions and socialist policies like government-run health care, it’s no surprise Beto refuses to answer tough questions from caucus-goers.”
