DES MOINES — Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement in response to the conclusion of the first 2020 Democratic debates:

“The last two nights prove 2020 Democrats will continue tripping over themselves in their race to the left. It’s a race to determine which out-of-touch liberal will raise your taxes the highest, steal your insurance, open our borders, and see which clown will hand out the most free stuff, without any plan to pay for it. With their outrageous agenda, it’s increasingly clear who the ultimate winner of this race will be: President Trump, who continues keeping his promises and getting results for the American people.”
