(DES MOINES) – Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement in response to President Trump’s State of the Union Address:

“For the last two years, President Trump has delivered on his promises to the American people. He has put America First time and again, championing historic tax cuts, renegotiating unfair trade deals, strengthening our military, and completely revitalizing the American economy. Obstructionist Democrats wanted to stop this address because they don’t want to hear the truth: the State of the Union is strong thanks to President Trump’s leadership.”
