RPI Statement on Tonight’s Vice Presidential Debate
Iowans have already soundly rejected the radical policies of Kamala Harris
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement declaring Vice President Pence the winner of tonight’s debate:
“Iowans have already soundly rejected the radical policies of Kamala Harris, including her support for taxpayer-funded health care for illegal immigrants, burdensome regulations that would devastate our farms and small businesses, and raising taxes on the middle class to the tune of $4 trillion to pay for the far-Left’s socialist agenda. Now, she is considering dangerous, out-of-touch ideas like abolishing the Electoral College and packing the court, showing just how much is at stake in this election.
“The Trump-Pence Administration has put America First since day one, and even in the face of Democrat resistance and obstruction, they have gotten results for the American people -- cutting taxes for the middle class and small businesses, putting farmers first by negotiating free and fair trade deals like the USMCA, and peeling back red tape which all helped create a booming economy the likes of which America hadn’t seen in 50 years. Iowans want four more years of the Trump-Pence Administration to continue the Great American Comeback.”
