DES MOINES - Iowa GOP Spokesman Luke Wolff released the following statement in response to Sen. Harkin's reaction to Biden's awful debate performance:

"Sen. Harkin, a trusted voice by the Iowa Democrat Party, has even admitted that Biden cannot recover from his awful performance last night. If Sen. Harkin is expressing these views unprompted, where do the rest of the Democrats in Iowa stand? Where are statements from Rob Sand, Lanon Baccam, and others?"

"Now is a perfect time for the people of Iowa to hear that Democrats either want Biden as the nominee or off the ticket."
