DES MOINES — Iowa House Speaker Linda Upmeyer released the following statement regarding the launch of the Women for Trump coalition:

“Under President Trump’s administration, women’s unemployment is at a 70 year low, the Child Tax Credit was doubled, and the number of women in poverty fell by 600,000. While 2020 Democrats travel the state touting an agenda that would undo this historic progress, President Trump’s Administration continues standing up for women who have often felt left behind — I applaud Lara Trump, Ronna McDaniel, and all members of the Coalition who are working to empower women across the country.”
