Dr. Cody Hoefert, Rock Rapids resident, was recently elected as co-chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa. Hoefert, 36, is a chiropractor, and has been elected to this position along with chairman Jeff Kaufmann, who is from Wilton, Iowa.
Hoefert is keeping very busy with his new position. Prior to his new role, he had been serving on the Iowa GOP’s board of directors as a representative for the fourth district. “I was responsible for those 39 counties. Now, I work at a state-wide level,” Hoefert explains.
