Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats are inching closer to overturning the certified results of Iowa's Second Congressional District.

While a bipartisan state board certified the election results on November 30th, 2020, House Democrats do not care. Their slim majority calls for partisan, desperate measures. 

That puts Twitter heartthrob, Rob Sand, in a very awkward position. 

Sand, Iowa's Democrat State Auditor, was a part of the bipartisan state board the certified Mariannette Miller-Meeks the winner, and Rita Hart the loser. Sand put his name on the line to say that the results of the election were accurate. Now members of his own party are trying to overturn the same board's certified election results - and he is completely silent. 

Sand is all about openness, right? On January 11th, Sand called on Iowa Republican leaders to "clearly state" that the presidential election was fair. So we ask Sand, was Iowa's Second Congressional District's election fair? Do you still believe Mariannette Miller-Meeks was the winner? If so, why have you been silent on Nancy Pelosi's attempt to overturn a certified election?

Sand might feel a little uncomfortable answering tough questions because those answers are sure to affect his prospects for a new job. It begs the question: what is more important to Rob, the truth or politics?
