DES MOINES - Iowa GOP Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement regarding Kamala Harris's speech at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago:

"Far-left Kamala Harris reinforced what we knew all along: she is too progressive for America. We must remember what Kamala's true record is while Democratic elites try to reinvent her after pushing Biden off the ballot. She has applauded defunding the police, failed as the Border Czar by only visiting the border once, wiped the records of illegal immigrants while serving as AG in California, vehemently supports sanctuary cities, and wants to pack the Supreme Court with liberal justices. Kamala has shown she will put America Last while her and Tim Walz destroy our country."
