DES MOINES -- Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann issued the following statement regarding Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats’ plan to vote on impeachment inquiry proceedings:

“While President Trump is working hard to make the world a safer place, Democrats continue to prove that they will do whatever it takes to void the will of Iowans who supported Trump by nearly 150,000 votes in 2016. On Thursday, Reps. Axne, Finkenauer, and Loebsack will have two choices: they can Stop The Madness and vote against the bogus impeachment charade, or they can side with the radical left over their constituents who stand strongly behind President Trump.”
