DES MOINES -- Iowa Democratic Senate candidates Theresa Greenfield, Eddie Mauro, Kimberly Graham, Michael Franken, and second congressional district candidate Rita Hart have gotten away with avoiding questions on several hot button issues -- whether it’s the Green New Deal or Medicare for All.

But one issue they must be asked about is where they stand on impeaching the President of the United States.

From Russia to Ukraine, Democrats have made impeachment their main focus in their refusal to accept the results of the 2016 election. They have spent millions desperately conducting investigations and hearings -- all in an effort to overturn the will of millions of Americans.

Now, Nancy Pelosi has officially announced Democrats will vote on two articles of impeachment. While Democrats like Axne and Finkenauer have been silent on the issue, some House Democrats are being vocal about their opposition or are skeptical about moving forward.

Candidates in the Democratic Senate primary and Rita Hart say they want to represent Iowans in Congress. Iowans deserve to know if Iowa Democratic candidates would join the far-left to impeach our duly-elected president -- a president Iowa voters supported by a 9 point margin in 2016 -- or stand with Iowans over party bosses.
