Build the Bench seeks to empower strong conservative women to run for office and win! No matter what level of government you are exploring, Build the Bench wants to help provide you with information on how to run an effective campaign and find success on Election Day.

As Republican Party of Iowa Co-Chair, former Speaker of the Iowa House Linda Upmeyer wanted to carry over her passion for recruiting quality candidates. She developed the Build the Bench project to empower and educate female candidates to run for a variety of offices. Build the Bench creates programming such as campaign trainings, networking opportunities, and candidate Q & A sessions.
