Today, Cindy Axne released a new ad that lies to and deceives Iowans. 

Axne likes to claim she has bucked her own party, but feelings are not facts. Ever since Democrats took power in Washington, Axne has voted 100 percent of the time with Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi.

While Democrats recklessly spent trillions of dollars and hurled our economy into a recession, Axne stood right by their side: 

• Voted for the American Rescue Plan that caused our current inflation crisis. 
• Spent months denying that inflation was real
• Was the only member of Iowa’s delegation to vote for Joe Biden’s $3.5 trillion reckless tax and spending spree that experts said would make inflation worse 
• Voted for Joe Biden’s so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” which does not reduce inflation and hired 87,000 new IRS agents

"Cindy Axne's lies must be called out," said Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann. "Axne has aided and abetted Joe Biden in destroying our strong, great nation. Without any accountability, Axne will continue to lie to and deceive Iowans. This is Washington politics at its worst."
