At a recent town hallDemocrat Congresswoman Cindy Axne told her constituents that she isn't concerned about the rising cost of gas and everyday goods. Axne showed even more ignorance about inflation by calling voters' worries 'false advertising.'

In a new poll released this morningvoters in 51 battleground Congressional districts were asked about their worries on inflation. Here are the top lines:

  • 86 percent said they were worried about inflation.
  • 73 percent are worried about impending tax increases.
  • The majority of those asked blamed inflation on Democrat spending.

"Every day, Iowans are worrying about the lasting effects of inflation, whether they're shopping for groceries or pumping gas," said Republican Party of Iowa Communications Director Kollin Crompton. "With Axne and big spending liberals at the helm, voters know who to blame and 2022 looks more grim the longer Axne continues being in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi."
