In response to Governor Kim Reynolds signing SF 478 yesterday, Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement:

"It's clear as day that Rob Sand is anything but an impartial watchman for the people of Iowa, but rather a political hitman out to score political points.

"I commend the legislature for doing its job by reining in Rogue Rob from wasting any more of Iowans' taxpayer dollars. He's abused the duties and powers of his office to attack Republicans long enough."
