Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement in response to Iowa's Legislative Services Agency releasing the second set of redistricting maps: 

"Just as Iowa's gold-standard redistricting process lays out, the Iowa Legislature now has a new set of maps to review. As I said when this whole process began, Iowans can have confidence that redistricting will be transparent and fair, regardless if you live in an urban center or on a family farm.

"We have seen how Democrats have made this process nasty with their outrageous claims and partisan virtue signaling. Legislators should do their due diligence and complete this process as laid out by Iowa code and keep politics out of it."
