DES MOINES – Democrats are, once again, politicizing the deadly coronavirus pandemic in a new ad today for political gain. Chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa, Jeff Kaufmann, said the following:
 
“It’s repulsive that Democrats would politicize the coronavirus pandemic. They are attempting to prey on Iowans’ fears and spread more lies just to prop up Theresa Greenfield. Iowans know that Senator Ernst is a strong advocate in her efforts to deliver for our state and lead us through this difficult time.”
 
This deceitful ad is part of the more than $2 million dark money group, Iowa Voices, has spent since July 2019.
 
Senator Ernst is fighting for affordable, quality health care for Iowans. She is helping to lead the Protect Act to help those battling pre-existing conditions.
