DES MOINES, Iowa -- Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement declaring President Trump the winner of tonight’s presidential debate:

“For four years, President Trump has delivered on the promises he made to the American people and put America First. From negotiating free and fair trade deals like the USMCA, to cutting taxes and rolling back burdensome regulations that allowed small businesses to grow and thrive, the president has gotten results for Americans. Meanwhile, Joe Biden oversaw the slowest economic recovery since the Great Depression, and the radical Harris-Biden agenda would mean tax hikes for 82 percent of American families. 

“President Trump has already proven he can rebuild our economy. The choice is clear: Vote for someone who hides from his failed policies, or for President Trump, who has a successful track record of putting American interests first.”
