Finkenauer’s Fishy Decisions Sink Her Chances in IA-01
Iowans think Finkenauer’s latest activity has been more than a little fishy.
DES MOINES -- Iowans think Finkenauer’s latest activity has been more than a little fishy. She has proven time and again she is incapable of focusing on anything other than impeachment, completely ignoring important issues that actually produce results for her constituents, like passing the USMCA and fixing the border crisis.
For at least the second time, Rep. Finkenauer voted to block President Trump’s emergency declaration to build a border wall. And although the fate of the USMCA rests in the hands of House Democrats, Finkenauer has made no effort to swim against the stream and pressure Speaker Pelosi to bring this important trade agreement up for a vote.
Finkenauer continues schooling with her fish -- voting with Pelosi and far-left Democrats to formalize the impeachment charade this past week. And despite representing a pro-Trump district, Finkenauer has obstructed and resisted every single item on the president’s agenda, and now she wants to undo the results of the 2016 election using any means necessary -- silencing the will of a majority of her constituents.
“While Rep. Finkenauer might’ve had Iowans on the hook in 2018, she continues ignoring issues that matter in favor of a bogus impeachment inquiry,” said Jeff Kaufmann, Chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa. “This time, Iowans won’t take the bait. Republicans have cast a wide net, and we’re excited to welcome this district back into GOP hands in 2020.”
