Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann released the following statement in response to Joe Biden's State of the Union address: 

"This speech, like Joe Biden's presidency, is a disaster. Look at the polls - Iowans are tired of Joe Biden and the Democrat Party's radical agenda. While Americans were having their lives turned upside down, their businesses closed, and their kids stuck at home, Joe Biden fought harder to keep COVID restrictions than he did to get our childrens' lives back to normal. Now, he wants to declare victory? Iowans will see right through this political theater which has become a trademark of the Biden Administration. 

"Joe Biden is a failure and no matter how much desperate spin he put in his speech, that won't change things. The only thing that will bring about change is Americans heading to the ballot box in the 2022 midterms."
